Last Friday, Lenovo Philippines launched four new touch notebooks. Well not exactly new, but touch-enabled Windows 8-optimized versions of their successful notebook lineups in the past. Freshly introduced are the Yoga 11s, IdeaPads S210 Touch, Z400 Touch, and S400 Touch.
According to Vicky Agorrilla, Country General Manager of Lenovo Philippines, their latest range of touch-enabled devices will create and define a new computing experience for the consumers. She further added that today is the right time for these new form factors to take off and gain rapid adoption, for the Doers of today to work and play with digital content like never before.
The IdeaPad Yoga 11s bears the same flexibility as its predecessor making it a multi-mode convertible laptop that you can flip and fold into four setup positions depending on your needs. You can use it as a stand, a tent for watching movies, as a touchscreen tablet, or as your conventional laptop for content creation purposes.
It will also have the same attractive rubber paining and soft-touch exterior of the previous Yoga. Even the Clementine Orange color is retained.
Powering the IdeaPad Yoga 11s is a 3rd generation Intel Core i3 processor. It also has an 11.6-inch 10-point multi-touch HD IPS display for that full Windows 8 experience. It will be available by the second week of June for Php44,995.
The IdeaPad S210 Touch is Lenovo’s basic line of notebook. Aside from the 12-inch 10-point multitouch feature, the S210 Touch gets an ultra-low voltage 3rd Gen Core i3 processor with 4GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. It will be available this month for only Php21,995.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Z400 and S400 Touch both feature a 14-inch HD touch-based display and come in either a Core i3 or Core i5 configuration. They also have VeriFace face recognition security technology as well as OneKey Rescue System for easy backup and recovery. The Z400 Touch is already available starting at Php35,995 while the S400 Touch will be available in mid-June starting at Php27,995.
